Living Room Wall Art Canvas Prints
Living room wall art that makes the room feel finished. Modern canvas prints in bold abstracts, calm neutrals, clean black & white, and botanical pieces—made to work above sofas, sideboards, and feature walls.
Modern wall art for living room spaces
If you want one strong focal piece or a clean, balanced look, start with style first—then size. Every canvas is made for crisp detail, rich colour, and an easy “hang it and it’s done” finish.
Choose your size (including large wall art for living room)
- Above a sofa: go wider so it looks intentional (not “floating”).
- Big empty walls: choose large wall art to get that gallery feel without multiple frames.
- Smaller areas: keep it simple—one clean piece beats clutter.
Minimalist & neutral wall art for living room
Clean shapes, softer palettes, and calm composition—perfect if you want the space to feel modern and breathable. Start with abstract & geometric canvas prints for minimalist structure and easy-to-match colour.
Black and white wall art for living room
High contrast, timeless, and easy to match with any furniture. Browse black & white canvas prints if your room already has colour in rugs, cushions, or statement pieces.
Botanical, floral, landscape & nature wall art
These styles add warmth fast—great for rooms that feel “too clean” or flat. Explore botanical & nature canvas prints for grounded colour and an easy, lived-in feel.
Abstract wall art for living room
Abstract canvas prints give you impact without being literal. If you want a statement piece with modern energy, start with abstract & geometric canvas prints.
Ready-to-hang + optional framing
Printed on high-quality canvas with a clean finish that looks sharp on the wall. Choose the framed option where available for an extra polished, “gallery” look.

What is a Canvas Print and why should I choose it?
A canvas print is a high-quality image printed on canvas fabric, stretched over a wooden frame. It offers a premium, artistic look, making it an excellent choice for home and office décor.
What is the difference between a Canvas Print and a poster?
A canvas print is printed on durable canvas material and stretched over a wooden frame, giving it a more premium and long-lasting look. Posters, on the other hand, are printed on paper and usually require framing.
How is a design printed on canvas?
We use state-of-the-art printers with UV-resistant inks, ensuring vibrant colors that last for years. The canvas is then stretched over a solid wooden frame, making it ready to hang.
Are canvas prints waterproof and fade-resistant?
Yes! Our canvas prints are made with water-resistant and UV-protected inks, which prevent fading over time and ensure long-lasting durability.
What is the best canvas size for my space?
The best size depends on where you want to place it:
- Living rooms: Large sizes like 36x24 inches (90x60 cm) or bigger.
- Bedrooms & offices: Medium sizes like 24x16 inches (60x40 cm) or 20x28 inches (50x70 cm).
How do I clean a canvas print?
Use a dry, soft cloth or a slightly damp cloth without chemicals to gently remove dust and dirt. Avoid excessive moisture.
Do I need a frame, or can I hang the canvas directly?
Canvas prints come pre-stretched on a wooden frame, meaning they are ready to hang without an additional frame.
Do you offer custom canvas prints with personal photos?
Yes! We provide custom canvas printing—just send us your high-resolution photo, and we’ll create a stunning canvas print just for you.
How do I properly hang a canvas print on the wall?
To hang wall art properly, follow these four steps:
- Choose your fixing method — Use a picture hook and nail for solid plaster or masonry walls. For plasterboard or drywall, use a drywall anchor or locate a stud. For a damage-free option, use adhesive strips rated for the weight of your canvas.
- Set the right height — Centre the artwork at 145–150 cm from the floor (standard eye level). If hanging above furniture — a sofa, bed, or console — leave 15–25 cm between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
- Mark and level before you drill — Hold the canvas in position, mark both hanging points lightly in pencil, then use a spirit level to confirm they are aligned. Never drill until you have confirmed the level.
- Hang and step back — All Rossetti Art stretched and framed canvases ship with hanging hardware already attached to the back. Once hung, step back and check alignment from a distance before finishing. For a full step-by-step guide covering all wall types and surfaces, read our how-to-hang-wall-art guide →

What size art should I hang above a sofa?
The standard rule for art above a sofa is the two-thirds rule: choose a piece (or arrangement) that covers roughly two-thirds of the sofa's width. For a standard 200 cm sofa, that means art between 130–140 cm wide. Centre the artwork at around 145–150 cm from the floor and leave 15–25 cm of space between the top of the sofa and the bottom of the canvas — close enough to look connected, not floating. Our 100 × 100 cm and 120 × 120 cm canvas prints are the most popular choices for above a sofa. For a wider sofa or feature wall, a canvas print set in a horizontal arrangement is often the better solution.
