Description
Format: Horizontal
There's something about grey that most people get wrong — they think it's safe, neutral, easy to ignore. Urban Haze proves the opposite. Deep charcoal marks bleed and drip across a layered mid-grey ground, pooling into dense, near-black clusters before dissolving into pale mist. The composition has the feel of a city skyline seen through rain — recognisable shapes that dissolve before they fully form. This dark grey abstract wall art is quietly commanding. It doesn't shout. It holds the room.
The palette is deliberately restrained: no colour, no warmth, just the full tonal range from near-white to pure black. That restraint is exactly what makes it so versatile — and so striking.
The Details
Printed with archival pigment inks rated fade-resistant for 75+ years and hand-stretched over a kiln-dried pine wood frame, Urban Haze arrives ready to hang. A UV-resistant coating locks in the tonal depth and protects the surface over time. The landscape format gives it a cinematic, wide-screen quality — ideal for a long wall above a bed or a hallway where the eye travels along the composition.
Available in multiple sizes. Not sure which scale works for your space? Use our Live Preview tool to visualise it on your actual wall before you order — no guesswork, no measuring stress.
Where It Works
Dark grey abstract art is one of the most universally adaptable choices for a contemporary interior. Urban Haze works in a bedroom above the headboard — moody, sophisticated, a backdrop for rest rather than stimulation. In an entryway, it creates an immediate impression: atmospheric, considered, confident. Against white walls, the tonal range pops with quiet intensity. Against dark walls, it becomes part of the room's texture.
Pairs beautifully with a natural oak floater frame for a gallery-quality finish. Gallery wrapped with the image continuing around the 1.5-inch sides — clean and ready to hang without framing if preferred.
Ships flat in reinforced double-wall packaging with corner protectors. Free shipping.
Color Palette: Charcoal black, mid grey, pale silver-grey, near-black
Painting Style: Atmospheric abstract, gestural mark-making, monochromatic, urban-inspired
Suggested Interior Placement: Bedroom above headboard, entryway, living room, dark academia study, industrial or loft space

Customer Reviews

Beautifully packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The colours are even more vibrant in person — the red has this warm, almost textured quality that you just can't capture in a photograph. It now hangs above my sofa and completely anchors the room.
The quality is outstanding — this is genuine gallery-level printing. The frame arrived perfectly assembled and was ready to hang in minutes. Chiara's work has a quiet, contemplative quality that photographs don't do justice to. Very happy with my purchase.
I bought this as a gift for my partner and it made an incredible impression. The packaging alone felt luxurious — double-boxed, corner-protected, and wrapped carefully. The artwork itself is even more expressive in person. We will definitely order again.
