This triptych canvas print — Orbit — is designed to be displayed together. Two outer panels carry elegant continuous line figures in cream on deep black: a female profile, drawn in a single unbroken line, enveloped by a large circular form that seems to hold her in place. The centre panel answers them in reverse: a bold black circle on a warm off-white ground, quiet and absolute. Together, the three panels form a complete thought — figure, void, figure. Presence, stillness, presence.
The line art is minimal in the truest sense — every mark deliberate, nothing decorative, the figure reduced to its most essential curve. The circular motif unifies all three panels and gives the set its internal rhythm. Hung above a sofa or along a feature wall, the three pieces read as one.
